How does the AI assistant collaborate with me? ⌄
Describe your goal in plain English or highlight a range. The assistant reviews your selection, plans the steps, and proposes edits—formulas, formatting, cleanups, or charts—that you can accept step-by-step or undo anytime.
What kinds of work can it automate? ⌄
Turn unstructured inputs like forms, PDFs, or emails into tidy tables, normalize columns, generate and audit multi-step formulas, format data, and produce charts anchored near your source data with titles and legends.
Which file formats are supported? ⌄
Import Excel (.xlsx/.xls) or CSV via drag-and-drop or File → Import, including multi-sheet workbooks with formulas and formatting. Export back to Excel, CSV, or download charts as PNG when you need them elsewhere.
How do pricing and credits work? ⌄
Embedsheet uses a simple credit system where 1 credit equals 1¢. Free accounts have daily limits, the Personal plan includes 2,000 monthly credits, Professional includes 15,000, and unused credits roll over. You can buy more credits anytime at 1¢ each.
Which AI models can I choose from? ⌄
Pick the model that fits your task—options include Claude Sonnet 4, GPT-5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and GPT OSS 120B. Each request deducts the listed credits, and you can switch models to balance quality, speed, and cost.
Is my data private? ⌄
Yes. Only the cells and context needed to fulfill your request are sent to model providers, and we do not use your data to train AI models. Your spreadsheets remain yours; see our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Can I extend Embedsheet with custom logic? ⌄
Create sandboxed JavaScript custom functions with JSDoc comments and call them like built-in formulas. They run safely without external network or file system access.
